This khutba is about the owner of the fruitful garden who used to distribute part of the produce to the poor and needed. When he died, his children became stingy and refused to give to the needed and thus Allah destroyed it. Many lessons have been explained from this story which is covered in Surah Al-Qalam v. 17-32.
